A true Wisconsin Belgian can't research his family history without encountering stories of the roadside chapels. There are so many great resources out there about Belgian history, their emigration to Wisconsin in the 1850s, the incredible food, etc. But for me, it's been their unwavering faith that has fascinated me, through not only their celebrations but also their struggles and tragedies. So I figured I'd create this site specifically focused on the chapels.
